Our quiet home is situated in the quaint lakeside village of Wheatley, nestled in the woods opposite Wheatley Provincial Park. Visit us as a rest stop before or after Pelee Island, while birding at the Point, tasting wines on the Ontario Wine Tour, or simply as a retreat to serenity.

bulletArriving from Toronto via 401:
  1. Exit #63, Tilbury Highway 2 (Queensline) and turn right.
  2. Follow Highway 2 into Tilbury (5 minutes) and turn left at the first stop light (Queen Street South).
  3. Follow this road straight through town, and out.
  4. Continue on Road 1 for about 20 minutes straight into the town of Wheatley (Erie Street).
  5. Passing straight through Wheatley's only stop light, you will then pass 4 streets on your left, turning left on the 5th (Middleton Line).
  6. Immediately after this, turn right onto Pier Road (following blue signs to Holiday Harbour).
  7. Follow this road for 1km until you find the only road on your left, and turn onto Gregory Line.
  8. By the Bay is on your left, the second last house. Our emergency number (green sign) is 493.
bulletArriving from Detroit via 401:
  1. Exit #56, Tilbury exit and turn right, following highway 2 into Tilbury.
  2. Continue into Tilbury (5 minutes) and turn right at the first stop light(Queen Street South).
  3. Follow this road straight through town, and out.
  4. Continue on Road 1 for about 20 minutes straight into the town of Wheatley(Erie Street).

  1. Upon entering Wheatley you will come to the only stop light, turn left.
  2. You will then pass 4 streets on your left, turning left on the 5th (Middleton Line).
  3. Immediately after this, turn right onto Pier Road (following blue signs to Holiday Harbour).
  4. Follow this road for 1km until you find the only road on your left, and turn onto Gregory Line.

  1. Upon entering Wheatley you will turn right at the only stop light.
